I’m Bethan, professionally known as BETHANZA, a UK based songwriter developing my work within modern K‑Pop and the global pop industry. My writing focuses on developing new and current concepts, designing songs for choreography, and blending current K‑Pop trends with a slightly grittier British edge. I take influence from artists like BIGBANG, BTS, aespa, and Dreamcatcher, and I’m drawn to music that feels bold, powerful, and ambitious (just like me!).

I create using both English and Korean depending on the concept and feel. Whether I’m working on a rap‑leaning concept, a ballad, or a bubble gum‑pop girl‑group track, I focus on making music that feels fresh, expressive, and crafted with the current industry in mind.

In my new concept EP, DUAL:ITY(Out soon), I explore the the theme of duality in all its forms and how it shows in myself as well as in the K-Pop industry, such as working bilingually, to shifting between male and female concepts, and opposing energies in each track.
